I like those pictures of lanterns by night. Ecspecially when there snow is fallen. Today I show you how to paint a snowy lantern by night. I used oils. Both mediums acrylics and oils have their own pros and cons on this painting. The pro of oils is that you can really nicely blend the light but it’s hard to paint the black stripes on the wet ground. Manche mögens scharf

Hallo Leute, es gibt ein neues Video. Ich liebe Chilis, auch wenn manche arg scharf sind. Hier habe ich drei Exemplare davon auf einem kleinen Stein verewigt. Im oben verlinkten Video zeige ich mit kurzen Erklärungen wie man diesen tollen 3D Effekt hinbekommt. Das A und O von 3D Effekten sind kurz gesagt die Schatten. Das Meer auf dem Stein

Heute habe ich einen neuen Stein bemalt. Ich dachte mir ich tu da mal ein bischen Meer drauf. Ich habe dieses Mal ein paar mehr Fotos geschossen. Wie immer muss man den Stein weiß grundieren um leuchtende Farben zu erhalten. Mein Referenzfoto ist von pixabay. Nachdem das Weiß trocken ist skizziere ich grob die Form der Welle und die einzelnen Farbbereiche. Danach habe ich von hinten nach vorn angefangen zu malen. Magnolia on stone

3D Marienkäfer

Ich habe heute nach langer Zeit wieder einen Stein bemalt. Mein Lieblingsmotiv der Marienkäfer musste wieder einmal herhalten. Zunächst habe ich einen schönen passenden Stein gewählt und ihm gründlich geschrubbt. Dann habe ich mit einem Kreidestift grob meine Idee skizziert. Das coole an Kreidestiften im Gegensatz zu Bleistift ist, man kann es mit einem feuchten Tuch leicht wegwischen. Das musste ich auch mehrmals tun denn ich bin nicht mehr in Übung. Steht die Skizze kommt als nächstes die Grundierung in weiß. Zumindest da wo die Farben leuchtend sein sollen. Tja und dann rot in mehreren Schichten mit unterschiedlichen Tönen.
